Plot Summary
- U.S. President Merkin Muffley (Peter Sellers) calls Moscow about something going wrong with the bomb. Apparentley psychotic Strategic Air Command officer, Gen. Jack D. Ripper (Sterling Hayden), lets loose his B-52 bomber squadron on the Soviet Union. He does this because he believes that Communists are trying to take over the world. Unfortunately, his attack will trigger the Russian's Doomsday Machine.

Channing (1964) (TV Series) aka The Young and the Bold - As Dr. Peter Cooke
Plot Summary
- Joseph Howe (Jason Evers), was an English professor at Channing University. Howe had been a "citizen soldier" during Korea and was writing the great American novel in his spare time. Henry Jones was the dean of Channing. Don Gordon played a soldier back from Vietnam who is entering Channing. Robert Lansing was a flamboyant, self pitying professor with a drinking problem. Rip Torn was a perpetual graduate student with multiple degrees, who is having too good a time to leave Channing.

The Defenders (1962-1964) (TV Series) - As Andrews
Plot Summary
- Recent law school graduate (Robert Reed) joins his father (E.G. Marshall) as the pair tackle challenging legal cases, often involving issues which were highly touchy for the times (abortion, euthanasia, "un-American" activities, movie censorship). In most the freshly minted lawyer has much to learn from his father's extensive legal experience.

Plot Summary
- Guiding Light takes place in the fictional Midwestern town of Springfield. In its early years the stories centered on the middle class Bauer family, but later the wealthy Spauldings, Chamberlains, and Lewises, along with the working class Reardons and others, took their own places of prominence, though the Bauers remained the heart of the show.

- Set in the Haiti of "Papa Doc" Duvalier, The Comedians tells the story of a sardonic white hotel owner and his encroaching fatalism as he watches Haiti sink into barbarism. Complications include a friendship with a rebel leader, politically "charged" hotel guests, an affair with the wife of a European ambassador, and the manipulations of a conniving British arms dealer.

Plot Summary
- Jack Jefferson is as a boxer dealing with the racism and hatred of early-20th century white America. He is not only the first black heavyweight contender; he is also in love with a white woman. Jefferson must not only deal with the hatred of whites, he must also deal with the ostracism of some members of the black community who feel he has sold out.

- When the President and Speaker of the House are killed in a building collapse, and the Vice-President declines the office due to age and ill-health, Senate President pro tempore Douglas Dilman suddenly becomes the first black man to occupy the Oval Office. Plot Summary
- Through memory flashbacks accessed by hypnotic regression, depicts the alleged UFO abduction of Betty and Barney Hill on September 19, 1961 in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Upon returning from a trip into Canada, Betty (a social services worker in Portsmouth, New Hampshire) and Barney (a postal employee in Boston) are plagued by crippling anxiety and nightmarish visions. Turning to Dr. Benjamin Simon for help in piecing together the happenings of that night, the Hills enter into therapy and independently relate a most unearthly tale. Deadly Hero (1976) - As Rabbit
Plot Summary
- Lacy, a blatantly bigoted New York cop who finds that his rabid hatred forces him into a bloody rampage in order to save himself and his job. This 18-year veteran of the NYPD has been demoted from detective to patrol car because of his liberal use of deadly force on nasty perpetrators. When Lacy encounters nasty black mugger Rabbit, who is terrorizing young schoolteacher Sally at knifepoint in her apartment, it doesn't take much for the cop to decide to put the thug on terror alert by shooting him. Is Sally grateful for blowing away the object of her torture? To Lacy's surprise, she instead testifies against him, accusing him of being a cold-blooded killer..

The Greatest (1977) - As Malcolm X
Plot Summary
- Muhammed Ali portrays himself in this biofilm telling the incredible story of his life. As 18 year-old Cassius Clay, Ali wins the Olympic gold medal for boxing. From there, he sets out to win the heavyweight championship under the guidance of trainer Angelo Dundee (Ernest Borgnine). Clay wins the title from Sonny Liston, converts to Islam, and changes his name to Muhammed Ali. He is drafted, but refuses on religious grounds, and find himself in a court battle that still can't prevent him from winning in the ring.

Exorcist II: The Heretic (1977) - As Older Kokumo
Plot Summary
- This begins four years after the original possession of Regan MacNeil (Linda Blair). She's in the care of her childhood nanny and attends sessions with a psychologist who thinks Regan remembers more about her ordeal than she admits. Father Lamont is the protégé of the priest who died exorcising Regan and he investigates the death of his mentor. The Father and psychologist think the demon still exhibits a hold on Regan and they stage a climactic battle for her soul.
- The Older Kokumo was possessed as a boy by the same demon as Regan and exorcised by Father Merrin. Father Lamont travels to Africa to meet him as an adult to learn the true name and ancient origins of Regan's demon.

Plot Summary

Paul Robeson (1979) (TV) - As Paul Robeson
Plot Summary

A filmed performance of James Earl Jones' one-man-show about singer/actor Paul Robeson, whose controversial political views ended his career prematurely.
The multi-talented Robeson was an accomplished athlete and scholar before his superlative career in show business even began. But Robeson often spoke out against racism, and sided with the Soviet Union during the Cold War. As a result, Robeson's career took a serious downturn, and he was virtually blacklisted from the entertainment industry. A few years before his death, however, Robeson's career was briefly resurrected. The actor died in 1976.

- Conan (Arnold Schwarzenegger) is a powerfull Cimmerian warrior that is joined by the thief Valeria, who becomes his lover, and the archer Subotai. The king hires them to rescue his daughter from the clutches of the Set cult. This provides Conan with the chance to avenge the death of his parents at the hands of their ruler.
- Thulsa Doom is the evil ruler of the snake cult of Set and a powerful sorceror who can change into a snake and use his somewhat hypnotic gaze to overpower women. He is beheaded by Conan during the final scene.

Soul Man (1986) aka The Imposter - As Professor Banks
Plot Summary
- Mark doesn't expect any problems in going to college: he and his friend have reserved places in Harvard and his parents have the money to pay for his education there. But suddenly his father's neurotic psychiatrist advises him to go on vacation in Hawaii instead of spending more money on his son. Since Mark wants to keep his lifestyle, including a fancy car and a flat shared with his friend, he seeks financial support. The only foundation which still accepts applications is for blacks only -- no problem, with lots of bronzing pills and "soul in his voice" he sets out to Harvard. Soon he has to realize that being black will cause some people to handle him differently.

Highway to Heaven (1987) (TV Series) - As Gabe Wilson
Plot Summary
- Jonathan Smith is a probationary angel sent back to Earth to help people. He meets embittered ex-policeman Mark Gordon and helps reform him. Mark agrees to become Jonathan's associate in his heavenly mission. The two travel the country as itinerant workers, receiving assignments from "the Boss" (an unseen associate only Jonathan could communicate with). Typical episodes stressed moral, Christian themes; though many episodes dealt with common human failings, such as egotism, bitterness and greed, some shows addressed such topics as racism and cancer.

Plot Summary
- A young girl agrees to work in a center for girls who can't stay with their parents. She gets wrapped up in the plights of several of the girls, and tries to help them, but only gets herself into trouble with her parents and supervisor.

Plot Summary
- Mingo County, West Virginia, 1920. Coal miners, struggling to form a union, are up against company operators and gun thugs; Black and Italian miners, brought in by the company to break the strike, are caught between the two forces. Union activist and ex-Wobbly Joe Kenehan, sent to help organize the union, determines to bring the local, Black, and Italian groups together. Drawn from an actual incident; the characters of Sid Hatfield, Cabell Testerman, C. E. Lively, and Few Clothes Johnson were based on real people.

The Prince conceals his identity and gets a job at a fast-food restaurant where he falls in love with owner Mr. McDowell's (John Amos) daughter, Lisa (Shari Headley). The rest of thetime Akeem fights the bad guys like Samuel L. Jackson, and tries to attain the hand of Lisa in marriage
