-Thirty years old and single, Beatrix Potter (Renée
Zellweger) lives in London with her parents, who are upset
that she has turned down so many eligible young men. Her
only real friends are the animals which since childhood
has made up stories about. She sells a book, and it becomes
Norman Warne's first publishing project. He falls in love
with the book and Beatrix and together they go into publication.
This proves the first of many successes, offering her
the possibility of escapingher former way of life. |

-Set over the course of a day on Hampstead Heath, North
London, this movie looks at the relationships of seven
couples. A gay couple deciding whether or not to adopt
a child; a couple who are in the process of divorce; a
wife's husband stares at a teenage girls underwear; two
people in their forties experience an awkward blind date;
an elderly couple look back on their lives; a young man
attempts to bed a woman, and a man who decided relationships
are too difficult and uses prostitutes.

-14 year old Alex is manipulated by the MI6 spy agency
to work forthem. His mission is to find out what's going
on with the Stormbreakers, which are high tech virtual
reality computers that have some kind of virus in them.
The main suspect is it's creator Darrius Sayle (Mickey
Rourke). After Alex nearly loses his life, he must return
to Britan to stop Sayle and save England.
-Ian Rider is Alex's uncle and an M16 spy. Alex describes
him at the beginning of the movie when he's in class.
He is killed when a Russian assassin shoots through his
car window while hanging from a helicopter. Then the title

(2005)
-Playing Doctor Sam Foster
-Standing in for a sick colleague, renowned New York psychiatrist
Sam Foster is confronted with disturbed art student Henry
Letham. Seemingly inspired by his idol, a painter infamous
for committing suicide on his 21th birthday, Henry announces
he will shoot himself Saturday at midnight at the moment
he turns 21. Foster, once having saved his suicidal girlfriend
Lila (Naomi Watts), takes the threat seriously but fails
to simply have Henry taken into custody. Instead, while
trying to track his patient down, Sam is gradually drawn
into the world of Henry's obsessions. |

-Directed by Tim Burton, it is about a relationship between
a father and his son. Edward Bloom is a teller
of tall-tales about his oversized life. His exploits range
from the delightful to the abstract as he tells about
giants, blizzards, a witch and siamese-twin lounge singers. With
his larger-than-life stories, Bloom charms everyone except
for his son Will, and when his mother tries to reunite
them, Will must learn how to separate fact from fiction
as he comes to terms with his father.

Adam (2003)
-Playing Joe Taylor
-The film is set in Scotland in the 1950's. Joe Taylor
is a drifter who's found work on a barge run by husband
and wife Les (Peter Mullan) and Ella (Tilda Swinton).
Though he likes Les, Joe begins an affair with Ella. Meanwhile,
flashbacks slowly reveal Joe’s connection to a young
woman’s corpse that Joe and Les pull out of the
canal in the opening scene. Joe also recalls through flashbacks
his relationship with his former mistress Cathie Dimly
(Emily Mortimer), while he seduces Ella. When the police
arrest a suspect in the murder of the woman, Joe becomes
interested in the case, while his thoughts disclose the
truth about the victims death. |

-Playing Catcher Block
-Barbara Novak (Renée Zellweger) has just wrote
a book called Down With Love. The book instructs women
to have sex the way a man does, and to detach themselves
from love completely. Catcher Block is a successful journalist
tapped to write a cover story on Novak. He blows her off
at every opportunity to cuddle with flight attendants.
However, when Novak's book is a complete success, Catcher
finds himself being blown off by her! So he starts to
write an expose and disguises himself as a naive astronaut
named Zip Martin. |
