In this first scene from Kingdom of Heaven, Lord Godfrey, Baron of Ibelin (Liam Neeson) has just returned home and rides past a burial for his son's wife. This happens at the very beginning of the movie.

   This video still capture shows Godfrey as he is talking to his son in his Blacksmith shop where he is working.

   This scene is at a camp where the Baron of Ibelin is showing Balian how to fight with a sword. He is already good, but his father shows him how to fight with a downward swing. Balian is on the run because he killed the priest that stole his dead wife's necklace.

   This picture is after Lord Godfrey is struck with an arrow by the men trying to arrest his son for murder. His health begins to deteriorate from this point on.

   Here, he's lying in bed after Balian takes him to Messina, port to the Holy Land. This is where he tells his son about the Kingdom of Heaven.

   This is the last scene in the movie that you see Lord Godfrey in. He tells his son of an oath to protect the king and the people, and then he knights his son, just before he dies from his previous arrow wound.
