Secret! (1984)
-Playing Bookstore Proprietor
-This is a parody of WWII spy movies in which American
rock and roll singer Nick Rivers (Val Kilmer), becomes
involved in a French Resistance plot to rescue a scientist
imprisoned in East Germany who is being forced to build
the deadly Polaris Mine. While performing, he falls in
love with the beautiful heroine, Hillary Flammond (Lucy
Gutteridge).
-The Bookstore Proprietor scene was filmed completely
in reverse and with subtitles just so Nick can throw books
onto a tall shelf.. The proprietor is in a Swedish bookshop
and is a member of the resistance that helps Nick and
Hillary. |

The
Uncanny (1977)
-Playing Wilbur Gray
-Wilbur Gray, a horror writer stumbles on the secret that
cats are supernatural creatures who are evil. In an attempt
to get others to believe him, Wilbur tells three tales
of feline horror. In 1912 London, a wealthy woman leaves
her fortune to her cats and not her nephew. Her maid,
also the nephews mistress, kills the woman for her money,
and her cats avenge her. 1975, in the Province of Quebec,
an orphan moves in with her aunt, her husband and her
cousin. They get rid of the orphans cat, so she uses witchcraft
to exact revenge. In 1936, Hollywood an actor kills his
wife and the wife's cat avenges her. |

At
the Earth's Core (1976)
-Playing Doctor Abner Perry
-In the late nineteenth century, Professor Abner Perry
is a leading scientist, and he creates a giant digging
machine so he can explore beneath the surface of the Earth.
He's sponsored and assissted by an old student of his,
American David Innes (Doug McClure).
They find a strange prehistoric landscape at the Earth's
core, including Sagoths (half-human half-pig), other humans,
giant lizards, flame-throwing dinosaurs, and the Meyhas
(telepathic pterodactyls).
The caves of Pellucidar is where the humans find and kill
the Meyhas who enslaved the humans. Perry and Innes then
re-enter the giant digging machine and make their way
back to the surface of the Earth. |

Space:
1999 (1976) (TV)
-Playing Raan in "Missing Link"
-Moonbase Alpha safeguards the nuclear waste shipped from
Earth and carries out research. On September 13, 1999,
the nuclear waste explodes and the Moon is hurled out
of Earth's orbit, into deep space. The main stars were
Martin Landau (Cmdr. John Koenig) and Barbara Bain (Dr.
Helena Russell).
-In this episode Koenig is critically injured when his
Eagle crashes and awakens to find himself transported
to a city of light on the planet Zenno. Back on Alpha,
Koenig's body is dying and the command structure is breaking
down.
-Raan is an an alien scientist that believes Koenig to
be the missing link of the loveless Zennite people. |

The
Legend of the 7 Golden Vampires (1974)
-Playing Professor Van Helsing
-Another Hammer film where Count Dracula journies to a
remote Chinese village in the guise of a warlord to support
six vampires who are dispirited after the loss of a seventh
member of their cult. At the same time, vampire hunter
Prof. Van Helsing happens to be lecturing in the country
and is persuaded by villagers to help them fight this
curse of the ages.
-Van Helsing tells his students of a doomed village in
China that becomes cursed every year at the time of the
7th moon. He is persuaded by a family of kung fu experts
to rid the village of the 7 vampires that torment them.
He kills Dracula with a spear. |

Beast Must Die (1974)
-Playing Dr. Christopher Lundgren
-Millionaire sportsman Tom Newcliffe (CALVIN LOCKHART)
is readying the hunt for the biggest game of all. He has
invited to his isolated mountain lodge an oddly assorted
group of guests. Each has had prior connections with bizarre
deaths or the eating of human flesh, and it is Newcliffe's
belief that one among them - the one that will become
the hunted -- is about to become a blood-crazed werewolf.
-Professor Christopher Lundgren is an expert on wolves
who knows more than seems humanly possible about the habits
and customs of the legendary werewolf?

for playing "Dr. Death," suffers a nervous breakdown
before going to England to do a TV series,and cast and
crew members start dying the way characters did in Toombes'
old movies and he is the prime suspect.
-Herbert Flay was an actor but is now Toombes screenwriter. |

Dr.
Phibes Rises Again (1972)
-Playing Ship's Captain
-Dr Phibes sets off for Egypt with his dead wife Victoria
and the ever loyal Vulnavia at his side in search of a
fabled fountain of life which might restore his beloved
Victoria to life. But to do so he has to outsmart arch
rival Biederbeck and his sidekick Diana who are also in
country searching for the very same source of life.
-The
Ship's Captain is a cameo appearance. When Ambrose
goes missing, Beiderbeck shows little concern and the
captain is surprised that Beiderbeck wants the search
called off and the voyage resumed immediately. Dr. Phibes
threw Ambrose overboard. |
